  • Take-up in the industrial sector down quarter-on-quarter due to a shortage of modern accommodation

  • Total returns in the Irish commercial property market in the year to the end of March 2016 at 23.5% according to MSCI with 2.9% growth achieved Q1

  • Prime yields in all sectors remain stable

  • Irish real estate remains attractive to institutional investors but pipeline of prime stock being released for sale is slowing as deleveraging winds down

  • Increased demand for apartment sites in Dublin

  • Depth of demand for all types of hotels around the country from a range of different buyers

  • Transactional activity in the investment sector in Northern Ireland on hold until after BREXIT referendum next month
